Our purpose
Doctors Decode publishes educational health content for patients, caregivers, and people researching care in Singapore. Our content is not personal medical advice, diagnosis, treatment planning, or emergency support.
We aim to make medical topics easier to understand while keeping clinical claims traceable to recognised medical sources, public health sources, guidelines, or peer-reviewed research where relevant.
How we create content
- We choose topics based on patient questions, search demand, clinical relevance, and public usefulness.
- Writers prepare drafts using medical sources and a claim-checking workflow.
- Clinical claims are reviewed for clarity, source support, and patient safety.
- Articles are written in plain language and avoid pressure, fear-based selling, or personal treatment recommendations.
Medical review
Where a page is medically reviewed, we name the reviewer and show relevant review information on the article. Reviewers check clinical accuracy, missing context, and patient-safety issues.
A reviewer does not create a doctor-patient relationship with readers. Readers should speak with a licensed healthcare professional for personal medical advice.
Editorial independence
Doctors Decode keeps editorial decisions separate from sponsorship, advertising, partnerships, and clinic relationships. Payment or partnership status does not influence or secure editorial coverage, ranking, or favourable wording.
Sponsored content, paid collaborations, or commercial relationships are disclosed clearly where they apply.
Corrections and updates
If we find an error, outdated source, unclear claim, or missing safety context, we may correct or update the content. Significant corrections may be noted on the page where appropriate.

Advertising and healthcare compliance
Doctors Decode aims to follow Singapore healthcare advertising and professional conduct standards, including rules against misleading claims, improper comparisons, inducements, and other improper promotional practices.
We do not use side-by-side outcome imagery, personal patient accounts as promotional proof, outcome promises, or urgency-based medical sales language.
